Required Tools¶
3D Printer¶
If you are printing your own parts, you need a printer with a build volume of at least 230 mm × 230 mm × 50 mm. As of July 20, 2026, the wheels determine the minimum build volume. As development continues, alternative wheel designs may support smaller printers such as the Bambu Lab A1 mini, which has a build volume of 180 mm × 180 mm × 180 mm. If your printer is too small, review the Printed Parts page to identify the limiting part. You can then check the Cislune GitHub organization for alternative designs or create one using the information in the Technical Reference.
Metric Hex Key Set¶
The 2.5 mm key is used for most M3 socket-head cap screws. Some designs and modules use other sizes, so a complete metric set is preferred.
Soldering Iron¶
A soldering iron is needed to install the PCB header pins and heat-set inserts. Use separate tips for soldering and insert installation.
Phillips Screwdriver¶
A Phillips-head screwdriver is used to attach each motor to its mount.
